I have a 1994 Chevy truck , I have mounted two different set of lights one on the roll barr and the other in the bumper. I have the main power run through two separate 30 amp relays. The problem i have is that i cant find a good place to tap into for the switch power ?

OK, had a big long paragraph of instructions, but not knowing the later trucks like I do the '87-older trucks (large blade style fuses), I will refrain from thinking they are the same. I suspect they are, but I don't know for sure. *IF* the fuse panel has empty slots on it that GM used to power various accessories, find the correct connectors out of the wrecking yards, and use those. They lock in place, can be easily disconnected for working on them, and are an infinitely better connection than any sort of splice. If they don't have those accessory terminals, I HIGHLY recommend you do not "tap into" anything. That simply increases your potential for weird electrical problems down the road, and is EXACTLY why GM doesn't put hundreds of circuits on the same fuse. If you want to be able to run them all the time (engine on or off), I'd recommend a battery junction box if the fuse panel won't work as I earlier describe, where the leads to the relays are always "hot". Either way, you'll definitely want to fuse the switch leads separately.
