I have a 93 Jeep Wrangler that has an electronic fuel pum that is inside the fuel tank. Other than having to drop the tank is there anything I need to know. How do I releave the fuel pressure in the lines or do I need to release the pressure?

Very few will cut a hole in the floor, above where the pump is located for access. This is not recommended. It's easy to drop the tank, assuming near empty. Disconnect the fuel filler tube(s) from the tank. Loosen 2 t-nuts holding the supporting straps, while supporting the tank. Relieve fuel rail pressure by pulling the Fuel Pump Relay (located under the hood) then crank engine for a few seconds. Best to replace the whole fuel pump assembly ~$250. If you're adventurous, just replace the failed component -e.g. fuel pump module for ~$100. There is a large lock-ring holding the pump securely to the tank. DC has a special tool to loosen, but most figure a way to loosen w/o the tool. Be sure to replace the fuel filter when changing the pump, regardless of its' age. Failing pump components will shoot debris into the filter. -HTH
