Hello, Quick problem, if I have a 28 dc source and a relay that gets activated at 19V and turns back off at 6V. What is the easiest way to make the relay turns off at 16V instead of 6V? My issue is I have to keep the same relay and same source. Thank you all

So if you mean you have to have 16V directly across the coil at drop-out then it's impossible with that particular coil unless you rewind it. But I think you probably mean the supply voltage in general, in which case you could achieve what you want by connecting say a 9.1V Zener diode in series with the coil (reverse-biassed so it's operating in Zener mode). Even a cheap small 400mW 9.1V Zener will handle 40mA, but if the coil pull-in current is higher than that you'll need a higher-rated and more expensive Zener. That should increase your drop-out voltage to about 15V (still 6V across the coil). It will also affect your pull-in voltage, but you have plenty of source voltage to play with 🙂 An alternative to the single Zener diode would be a string of forward-biassed silicon rectifier diodes like 1N4004's if you have them lying around (but cheap as anyway) but they would be more hassle to connect and insulate from each other etc.
