I need to be able to control a drill motor (18v, 50A) with a 5v signal from a development board. I know I can use a MOSFET to control the high voltage, but that would still require a momentary 20V signal going to the gate of the MOSFET (which is higher than the 5v) signal. Someone recommended using a MOSFET Driver, but I'm not sure what that is or how to create one. If someone could give me some more info on how to do this or provide examples I would greatly appreciate it.
