Power on delay, plus timing. With large transparent time setting knob for setting time easily, 8 pin solder terminal for installation. Time Delay Relay used in industrial automation system and mechanical equipment to delay component. Relay is a kind of automatil electric switch, when supply with an input value, like electric, magnetic, light or thermal signal, it wall transfer the controlled circuit automatically and make an abrupt change, when the input value decreased to certain degtee, it will resume to former state and make the controlled circuit back to the former stare. Features LED indicator show power and output status.

Hello Everyone: Short form: Want my projector to control my electric projection screen (issue: On my projector I have a 12v trigger coming out of it, but my electric projector screen does not have a 12v input) What I do have is the option to add an Up and Down switch, to the screen controller box. What I was planning on doing is adding a 5 pin 12v relay, to control the up and down switch. I tested the screen and it will work with the down button continuosly pressed as well as the up button continuously pressed. What I need is just confirmation that I'm wiring it correctly. So the relay has 5 pins (and this is how I think it could work): 86 - 12v from projector (12v is continously feed when the projector is on) 30 - Ground from projector (for the 12v) 85 - Nothing connected 87 - The Down Switch (from the screen controller) 87a - The Up Switch (From the screen controller) 30 - the ground for the Up and Down Switch (from the screen controller) From what I gather, When the relay is powered (ie 12v from projector) then the 87 and the 30 will close and in turn cause the screen to go down. Then when the 12v is cut (ie the projector is turned off) then the 87a and the 30 will close, and in turn cause the screen to go up. Brand new screen, just don't want to fry it doing something wrong. Thanks in advance for you help.

First see what voltage that switch operates at. By those terminal numbers, it looks like you are talking of a standard automotive accessory relay (which I have used plenty of, so know). Those are rated to 50 some volts. If the up/down switch is at mains voltage, such a relay is unacceptable. Instead, you should get one with mains AC rated contacts, and an appropriate enclosure. If it is low voltage low current, you likely could get a smaller relay than the automotive type. Second is to see if the screen motor has limit switches, so that such a basic relay scheme can work blindly, otherwise, you need timers or limit switches.
The timer relay 12v function exceptionally effectively with unique applications which can be certain to energy distribution and protection. The relays come with wide adjustment ranges having a scale that is definitely simple to study either in three or four digits based on the model. These timer relay 12v aid in growing the flexibility on the applications, cut down the all round power and upkeep charges. You will find relays that are utilized for basic purposes which are available in trusted styles with fast replacement options. And you will find models which can be used for industrial applications and heavier duty applications that operate on huge loads. These items are created to meet the lifetime industrial control desires with the applications.
